# Crusoe says every GPU is sold through 2028; CoreWeave's record 15.76% bond yield says otherwise

> Crusoe says every GPU through 2028 is sold, at the very moment CoreWeave's bond hit a record 15.76% yield. The credit market and the conference stage are pricing the same demand curve, and only one of them is putting money down.

At the Tech1 conference on October 28, Alon Yariv, who runs the Israeli operations of [Crusoe](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/crusoe), a private AI infrastructure developer, gave the neocloud camp its answer to the credit market [2]. Neoclouds are the companies that buy [Nvidia](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/nvidia) GPUs in bulk, house them in data centers and rent the computing power out to AI labs. "[Every GPU scheduled to arrive by 2028 is already sold to customers](https://www.calcalistech.com/ctechnews/article/634jvuwqi)," Yariv said [2].

The next day, the market answered back. The yield on [CoreWeave](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/coreweave)'s $2.75 billion bond maturing in 2031 hit a record 15.76%, the stock is down about 44% in six months, and it slipped another 6.92% to $59.50 in premarket trading on October 29 [1].

## Two camps, one demand curve

The disagreement is about price, not facts. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, asked about double-digit yields on AI debt, brushed it off: neoclouds are "a small component of the overall ecosystem," and "[the deals get done](https://finance.yahoo.com/technology/ai/articles/scott-bessent-brushes-off-concerns-163805608.html)" [1]. Crusoe's side agrees the fear is overblown [1][2]. But the bond market is charging junk-level rates for the privilege of holding the sector's paper, which is a price, not an opinion.

## The confession inside the sales pitch

Yariv's own panel carried the warning. Raising debt, he said, has become "increasingly difficult," and there is "a bottleneck that demands creative solutions" [2]. He drew the line himself: neoclouds that built real technology and serve customers like [OpenAI](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/openai) and [Anthropic](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/anthropic) sit on one side; companies that "essentially just buy GPUs and resell" secured megawatts face consolidation [2]. If demand is truly sold out through 2028, why does the weaker half have a business-model problem [2]?

## Crusoe's $700 million loan is secured by the turbines a lender would reprice first

Crusoe is a private company valued near $31 billion after a $3.9 billion Series F round, and it just took [a $700 million financing facility from Neuberger Specialty Finance](https://www.microgridknowledge.com/artificial-intelligence/news/55415069/behind-the-meter-power-draws-700-million-bet-as-ai-demand-surges), the specialty-finance wing of private investment firm Neuberger BNP [3]. The loan is secured by Crusoe's own power-generation equipment and funds part of more than six gigawatts of planned AI infrastructure [3].

That loan is the tell. Lenders will fund turbines for sold-out capacity; if demand wobbles, the same turbines are what gets repriced. [Goldman Sachs](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/goldman-sachs) sees AI and cloud electricity demand reaching 84 gigawatts by 2027, so the power race is real [3].

*Chart: **Crusoe raised more than the bond the market is now repricing** Bar chart ranking three financing figures: Crusoe's $3.9 billion Series F round, CoreWeave's $2.75 billion 2031 bond and Neuberger's $700 million facility to Crusoe.*

*Committed capital, US$ billions. Crusoe Series F and Neuberger facility per Microgrid Knowledge (October 28, 2026); CoreWeave 2031 bond size per Benzinga/Yahoo Finance (October 29, 2026). [1][3]*

For investors, the takeaway is a fork, not a forecast. If Yariv is right, CoreWeave's 15.76% yield is the trade of the year for bondholders; if the credit market is right, the equity in GPU resellers absorbs the loss [1]. The next signal will be the pricing on CoreWeave's next bond sale, not another conference claim [1].

## Takeaway

A Crusoe executive says every GPU through 2028 is sold, but CoreWeave's record 15.76% bond yield shows the credit market is pricing real doubt into neocloud demand; watch the next bond sale, not the conference stage.
