# Jabil expects AI revenue up 54% to $22.1 billion; CoreWeave's 2032 bond yields 15.77%

> Jabil guided fiscal 2027 revenue to $44.5 billion, with AI-related sales expected to rise 54% to $22.1 billion, and Stifel set a $460 target. The same week, CoreWeave's 2032 bond yielded 15.77% and Gartner said more than 80% of neoclouds will cease independent operations by 2030.

[Jabil](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/jabil), the St. Petersburg, Florida contract manufacturer that assembles the racks, boards and cooling AI servers run on, closed the year ended August 31 with $35.954 billion of revenue, up 20.6% from $29.802 billion, and $1.042 billion of net income, or 2.9 cents on every revenue dollar [1]. [The fiscal 2027 outlook issued on September 30](https://www.morningstar.com/news/business-wire/20260930962680/jabil-posts-fourth-quarter-and-fiscal-year-2026-results) calls for $44.5 billion of revenue, a 6.1% core operating margin and core diluted earnings of $17.55 a share, above the $42.79 billion and $16.87 Wall Street expected [2]. AI-related revenue reached about $14.4 billion in fiscal 2026, and management expects 54% growth to about $22.1 billion, close to half the guide [3]. [Stifel](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/stifel) set a $460 target with a Buy rating on October 13 [4].

*AI-related revenue as reported by management, about $14.4 billion in fiscal 2026 and guided to about $22.1 billion, against all other revenue, derived as total revenue minus AI-related revenue. The step up is recent. Quarterly revenue was still falling 17.7% year over year in the August 2024 quarter; it grew 23.1% in the February 2026 quarter, and the August 2026 quarter printed $10.62 billion, up 28.6% [9][1].

## The credit market repriced Jabil's customer base

Two days after the Stifel target, the money behind that demand repriced. [CoreWeave](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/coreweave), the neocloud many investors treat as the sector's bellwether, [slumped 15% on October 14](https://theinference.org/article/coreweave-bonds-hit-a-record-14-5-yield-as-six-ai-cloud-stocks-sink-gartner-sees-80-gone-by-2030); by the next day [its 2032 bond yielded 15.77%](https://www.cnbc.com/2026/10/15/whats-behind-the-sell-off-in-ai-neocloud-stocks-like-coreweave-and-nebius-.html) and its five-year credit default swaps, the insurance against default, cost 1,140 basis points a year [5]. [Gartner](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/gartner), publishing the same day, put the sector's arithmetic at $8.5 trillion of cumulative revenue needed through 2030 to cover announced capital spending, financing costs and a 12% return on invested capital, against at most $3.6 trillion of forecast enterprise and consumer AI revenue; it [expects more than 80% of neocloud providers to cease independent operations by 2030](https://www.itvoice.in/gartner-says-over-3-5-trillion-of-ai-infrastructure-spending-could-be-exposed-to-impairment-by-the-end-of-2030) [6]. Neoclouds, specialized computing providers built for AI, and the colocation firms that lease them space sit at the far end of the order book that becomes Jabil revenue [5]. Over one year CoreWeave is down 51% and [IREN](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/iren) down 56%, while [Nebius](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/nebius), which DA Davidson notes sells the same capacity with almost no financial leverage, is up 45% [8][5].

## The filings show who fronts the parts

Jabil does not disclose how much of its $8.5 billion revenue increase is ordered by leveraged neoclouds and how much by hyperscalers, and no public source carries that split. [The filings do show where the working capital sits](https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=0000898293). Inventories rose to $7.413 billion from $4.681 billion year over year, receivables to $6.513 billion from $4.039 billion, and cash fell to $1.739 billion, all against $14.444 billion of accounts payable [1]. Six Intelligent Infrastructure customers are each expected to pass $1 billion of fiscal 2027 revenue [3]. At 2.9 cents of net profit per revenue dollar, a canceled rack program is not a rounding error.

## The case for the guide, and what decides it

The other side has receipts too. The outlook spans automotive, healthcare, energy infrastructure and defense alongside AI, and Jabil also builds for [Apple](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/apple) [2]. Gartner itself allows that hyperscalers, with diversified revenue, can sustain AI investment for years [6]. The stock closed October 16 at $278.25, down 3.1%, 35% below its 52-week high of $428.93, at 28.45 times earnings, with [Flex](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/flex) and [Celestica](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/celestica) falling alongside [7]. The fiscal first quarter, guided to between $10.6 billion and $11.4 billion of revenue, reports in late December; the tell is whether inventories keep growing faster than revenue [1]. The guide assumes the rack orders stay funded, and last week [the bond market doubted some of the buyers](https://theinference.org/article/ai-debt-now-has-two-prices-15-for-coreweave-6-25-for-iron-mountain).

## Takeaway

Jabil's fiscal 2027 guide makes AI nearly half its $44.5 billion revenue, but its inventories and receivables are swelling against buyers whose bonds now yield 15.77%, and Gartner expects most neoclouds to be gone as independents by 2030. The December quarter report, and whether inventories keep outgrowing revenue, settles the argument.
