# monday.com's AI callers run on Twilio, and Twilio's Oct. 29 print meets price targets $160 apart

> monday.com's Harmony voice agent went on sale Oct. 19, renting its phone lines from Twilio while keeping the customer and the margin. On Oct. 29, Twilio's earnings report must say whether the AI agent era pays the pipes or the app layer.

On Monday, [monday.com](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/monday-com) (NASDAQ: MNDY) put Harmony on sale: AI agents that phone sales leads, qualify them and hand the good ones to human reps mid-call. The release promises 200-millisecond responses, speech "indistinguishable from humans" and a contact rate "up to 70%", a number that appears once, in the subheadline, with no method attached [1]. No price was published [2].

The only outcome figure is soft. Bright Car Finance, an FCA-regulated UK broker, runs about 2,500 approved applications a month and converted roughly 5% of them before Harmony [1]. Its director credits the platform with "a 9% increase in deals closed in less than a year" [1]. On [PPC Land](https://ppc.land/monday-coms-harmony-voice-ai-lifted-car-brokers-deals-9-client-says/)'s arithmetic, 9% relative is about 11 extra finance agreements a month; nine percentage points would nearly triple output [3]. The quote does not say which, and there is no control group [3].

## The line everyone skipped

One sentence in the release matters more than the benchmarks: Harmony's call-center capabilities are "[built on top of Twilio's platform to ensure enterprise grade quality](https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20261019455948/en)" [1]. monday.com keeps the customer, the brand and the margin, running small proprietary models on its own servers after [paying $14.1 million for voice firm OneAI in May](https://thenextweb.com/news/monday-harmony-voice-ai-sales) [2]. [Twilio](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/twilio) (NYSE: TWLO) gets the minutes. That is the shape of the agent economy: the workflow eats the margin, the pipes carry the traffic.

Harmony is not alone on the pipes. [Yelp bought Hatch for about $270 million in January](https://ppc.land/monday-coms-harmony-voice-ai-lifted-car-brokers-deals-9-client-says/) to automate lead follow-up and now runs [OpenAI](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/openai)'s GPT-Live-1 in its voice agents [3]; Invoca shipped AI voice agents for home services on Oct. 6, days after Google began billing Local Services advertisers for missed calls longer than 20 seconds [3]. Every one of those calls travels over someone's telephony, and in Harmony's case the someone is Twilio.

## BTIG priced the pipes at $315

[BTIG called exactly this on Oct. 16, raising its target to $315](https://www.tradingview.com/news/gurufocus:b1073049c094b:0-twilio-stock-gains-as-btig-sees-ai-agents-opening-new-uses/) and describing Twilio as "the communications infrastructure layer for AI agents," while conceding near-term agent revenue will be "modest and mostly tied to Verify" [6]. The Wall Street camps sit $160 apart: [Stifel](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/stifel) raised its target to $325 on Oct. 14 and [BTIG lifted to $315 on Oct. 16](https://www.ad-hoc-news.de/boerse/news/nebenwerte/btig-raises-target-to-usd-315-00-for-twilio-stock/70353460), while RBC holds Sell at $165 [4]. The spread is the whole argument in one number.

## The bill arrives Oct. 29

Twilio reports third-quarter results on Oct. 29 [4][8]. The setup is uneasy: Q2 brought $1.499 billion in revenue, up 17% organically, with $353 million of free cash flow [4], but [the shares closed at $244.37 on Oct. 16, down almost 11% in one day](https://www.gurufocus.com/news/9128405/twilio-twlo-shares-drop-nearly-11-amid-tech-selloff-on-october-16-2026), after a run from a $105 low to a $308.40 record [7][8]. [S&P 500 inclusion, announced Oct. 1](https://theinference.org/article/index-funds-paid-300-91-for-twilio-the-week-meta-and-verizon-raised-the-fees-twilio-bills-as-growth), lifted the shares about 16% in six weeks, and that mechanical index bid is now behind them [6][8]. Insiders sold $619 million of stock over the past year and bought nothing [7]. [Options price roughly an 80% move into the print](https://www.ainvest.com/news/twilio-3x-rally-broke-50-day-line-4-reclaim-decides-leg-2610/) [8].

*Chart: **Growth has accelerated in eight of nine quarters, from 4% to 22%** Column chart of Twilio's year-over-year quarterly revenue growth from the first quarter of 2024, 4 percent, rising to 22 percent in the second quarter of 2026.*

Harmony publishes no price, so the market has nothing yet that says what an agent-era minute is worth. What decides the Oct. 29 print is whether the income statement shows agent-era demand reaching the pipes: telephony usage growth, the Verify mix BTIG expects to carry near-term agent revenue, and guidance that prices the minutes, not the workflow.

## Takeaway

monday.com's Harmony rents its minutes from Twilio while keeping the customer and the margin, and Twilio's Oct. 29 earnings must show agent-era demand reaching the pipes to settle Street targets set $160 apart.
