# Nvidia now automates the agent-fixing loop LangChain sells, and DXC's bookings are where it shows

> Nvidia's free NeMo loop now does the trace-reading, test-writing and harness-fixing work that LangSmith charges for, and DXC, which licenses LangChain, just showed clients cutting contracts from five years to two.

[Nvidia](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/nvidia) has now automated the step enterprises pay [LangChain](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/langchain) for. On November 4 [its NeMo release turned stored agent traces into a prioritized fix backlog](https://developer.nvidia.com/blog/use-nvidia-nemo-to-turn-agent-failures-into-tests-and-harness-fixes/), generated the tests, changed the harness, and re-scored the results [1]. The loop runs on LangChain's own free Deep Agents harness, and Nvidia published the numbers: malformed tool calls fell from 142 to zero, the evaluation score improved 28% relative, and tool calls per run fell 35% in a Dassault Systèmes engineering example [1].

## LangChain answered with cloud coverage, not a product

[LangSmith Bring Your Own Cloud is now generally available on AWS](https://ctol.digital/news/langsmith-byoc-azure-google-cloud-agent-data/) and in beta on Azure and Google Cloud [2]. The architecture is the tell. Traces, evaluations and datasets stay in the customer's cloud account, while LangChain keeps a separate control plane holding authentication, workspace configuration, billing metadata and hashed API keys, and [administers Google Cloud data planes from its US control plane](https://www.unite.ai/fr/langchain-brings-langsmith-byoc-beta-to-azure-and-google-cloud/) [2][3]. Bring your own cloud is a data-plane promise, not a sovereignty promise.

## The company that shows what this costs is DXC

[DXC Technology](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/dxc-technology) licenses LangChain for its OASIS agents. [Its quarterly filing](https://www.stocktitan.net/sec-filings/DXC/10-q-dxc-technology-co-quarterly-earnings-report-8c25c16b375b.html) shows Global Infrastructure Services segment profit down 45.9%, bookings of $2.4 billion, and book-to-bill at 0.80x after 0.99 the quarter before [4][5].

Management said [clients are shortening contracts from five years to two](https://elite.finviz.com/news/412346/dxc-beats-on-a-one-time-insurance-boost-but-a-bookings-slump-and-broad-guidance-cut-undercut-a-stock-riding-sale-speculation) [5]. Those bookings and contract-length numbers are the market pricing LangChain's resold line: work DXC's clients used to commit to on five-year terms is now two-year work, against a stack Nvidia gives away free one layer at a time [1][5]. [Watch DXC's bookings, because that is where the repricing lands](https://theinference.org/article/nvidia-gives-away-langchain-s-agent-software-and-dxc-which-licenses-it-posted-bookings-down-10): the chart below shows three straight quarters under 1.0x, ending at 0.80x [1][5].

## Investors are not paid for that decay yet

On November 4 DXC closed at $13.86, above the $12 average of [three price targets raised that day](https://news.alphastreet.com/dxc-technology-drops-6-1-after-morgan-stanley-maintains-equal-weight/): [Morgan Stanley](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/morgan-stanley) moved to $12 while keeping Equal-Weight, JP Morgan to $13 on Underweight, and Susquehanna to $12 on Neutral [6]. None went to a buy rating. The only headline LangChain numbers still carry are self-measured, so discount them until independently checked. The value now sits with whoever turns free agent capability into completed enterprise work, and the 0.80x book-to-bill is where you will see it first [6].

## Takeaway

Nvidia's free NeMo loop now does the agent-fixing work LangSmith charges for, and DXC's 0.80x book-to-bill and two-year contracts are the first market evidence of the repricing.
