# Veeva's AI agents have five customers and no published price, and the stock already tops its $303.52 target

> Amgen's global Vault CRM rollout and a Copenhagen summit full of agentic AI put Veeva's bull case on stage, but the agent product has five customers, no published price, and a stock already above the average analyst target.

## Amgen signs, the Summit sells, the price waits

[Amgen](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/amgen), one of the world's largest biotech companies, said on October 27 that it will [deploy Veeva's Vault CRM globally as the foundation of an "AI-enabled commercial technology foundation"](https://www.themedicinemaker.com/issues/2026/articles/october/amgen-expands-veeva-partnership/?d=takeaways) [1]. Three days later [Veeva](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/veeva-systems) [put its Copenhagen summit, November 18 to 19, on the calendar](https://www.veeva.com/eu/resources/veeva-summit-showcases-ai-and-data-innovations-advancing-agentic-commercial/), with AstraZeneca, Roche, GSK and [Bristol Myers Squibb](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/bristol-myers-squibb) lined up to describe scaling agentic customer engagement: AI agents, software that acts on its own, doing work a sales representative used to do [2].

The bull case writes itself. Agents need a trusted, regulated system of record to act in, and Veeva sells that record.

## The system of record grows. The agent does not.

Veeva's fiscal second quarter, ended July 31, 2026, [brought revenue of $927.96 million, up 17.6% year over year](https://pluang.com/en/news-feed/veeva-systems-pemulihan-kuat-pertumbuhan-pendapatan-positif), with GAAP operating income up 40% [3]. Commercial subscription revenue rose 13%, more than 180 customers are live on Vault CRM, and [Eli Lilly](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/eli-lilly) and [Biogen](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/biogen) signed [4].

Falcon, Veeva's agentic labor product, has five early adopters, with [first go-lives not expected until fiscal 2027](https://www.ainvest.com/news/veeva-systems-claims-top-spot-daily-trading-volume-bullish-earnings-fuel-investor-interest-2610/) [4]. Veeva keeps 70% of its biopharma CRM subscription base [3]. [IQVIA](https://theinference.org/markets/companies/iqvia), the world's largest drug-trial operator, [reports more than 400 AI agents already deployed](https://www.iqvia.com/newsroom/2026/10/iqvia-reports-third-quarter-2026-results), commercial organic growth doubled year over year, and a $2.1 billion adjustment after reviewing inactive trials in a $32.6 billion contract book [5]. The agents are in production. The revenue line is not.

*Chart: **Revenue compounds at 16 to 18 percent; no AI step-change in the line yet** Line chart of Veeva Systems quarterly revenue from the quarter ended October 2024 to the quarter ended July 2026, rising from $699 million to $928 million.*

## No dollar, no retention, and the multiple already moved

Nothing Veeva has published names how an agent gets priced: per seat, per task or per piece of commercial evidence. That matters because an agent that makes the calls is what shrinks a seat count, and Veeva still sells seats. The market has pre-paid for the answer. [The stock closed at $312.96 on October 30](https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/quote/VEEV/), above the $303.52 average target of the 28 analysts covering it, at 15.06 times trailing sales and 51.3 times trailing earnings, more than double its 52-week low of $148.05 [7].

## The November 5 test

The counterargument is real. CNBC [frames Veeva as the picks-and-shovels way to play a biotech funding boom](https://www.cnbc.com/2026/10/28/biotech-ipo-market-investor-risks.html) [8], and IQVIA, Veeva's onetime courtroom rival, [made Veeva's clinical trial applications its enterprise standard on October 13](https://www.financialcontent.com/quote/NY:IQV/pressReleases) [9]. Veeva guided fiscal 2027 revenue growth to about 15% [3].

But that growth is already in the price. At the investor day on November 5, watch one thing: a dollar figure on the agentic layer, and a retention number that survives agents doing the work [7]. If neither arrives, earnings land on November 25 [7] and the multiple has moved without the revenue to hold it.

## Takeaway

Veeva's agentic AI story is all promise: five Falcon customers, no published pricing, and 15% guided growth already priced in at $312.96, above the $303.52 average analyst target. The November 5 investor day is the test.
