Anthropic could list as soon as November 16, and Robinhood's CFO says it could reprice his AI portfolio

Robinhood CFO Shiv Verma read Anthropic's prospectus on camera and said its reception could reprice every private mark in his fund, Mercor included. Robinhood Ventures Fund I is the only listed way to hold that book, and the debut could come as soon as November 16.

Dario Amodei, Anthropic's chief executive, at the White House luncheon on super intelligence on September 29, 2026. His company's listing could start trading as soon as November 16.

Anthropic's$350B — Anthropic, private, latest valuation $350B IPO now has a date, and Robinhood's−0.11% — Robinhood, down 0.11 percent today CFO says it moves his whole AI book

Shiv Verma, chief financial officer of Robinhood, read Anthropic's IPO prospectus on camera this week and described his own holdings while he did it: he runs point on Robinhood Ventures, whose fund holds OpenAI$500B — OpenAI, private, latest valuation $500B, Databricks$216.58B — Databricks, private, latest valuation $216.58B, the AI-hiring and data-labeling platform Mercor~$2B — Mercor, private, latest valuation ~$2B, and the coding company Cognition, and he said how Anthropic is received by investors "could greatly impact the valuations of the companies in the portfolio and, by extension, the overall value of Robinhood" 1.

The CFO did his homework on camera

What caught Verma in the prospectus, filed October 26, was the growth and one customer count: first-half 2026 revenue up 1,300% year over year, "I can't recall seeing another company doing that well," and roughly 250 customers spending $10 million or more a year, a bucket he expected to be larger and read as proof of how big Anthropic's future market is 16. Verma has to read every page for a second reason: Robinhood's retail base is expected to want Anthropic stock the day it lists 1.

The private marks have a repricing date

Anthropic could start trading on Nasdaq under ANT as soon as November 16, with bankers aiming for a listing valuation of $1.5 trillion to $2 trillion 16. That gives Mercor's private mark something it has never had: a listed co-mover with a date. Retail investors cannot buy Mercor directly. They can buy Robinhood Ventures Fund I (NYSE: RVI), a closed-end fund trading on the NYSE since March 6 that names Mercor in its portfolio alongside Stripe, ElevenLabs~$3.3B — ElevenLabs, private, latest valuation ~$3.3B, Databricks, Ramp and Revolut, open to investors without accreditation requirements 3.

The tickets are small, so the fund is the bet

Every position RVI has disclosed is a ten-to-thirty-million-dollar ticket, from Stripe's $14.6 million in March to the roughly $10 million it closed into Cognition on October 23, about 1.5% of the portfolio, charged at 2% a year, at roughly 50 times run-rate revenue 234.

A stake that small cannot be its own trade; it is a ticket on the whole book 2. The book's own CFO said as much, and the market priced the other side this week: Robinhood's third-quarter earnings missed on unrealized losses from RVI, and the stock fell about 5% after hours on October 27 5.

What the numbers say, in both directions

Mercor's record supports the believers. It raised $350 million at a $10 billion valuation in October 2025, was reportedly in talks to raise at $20 billion in July, and its annualized gross revenue passed $2 billion in June 7.

Anthropic's S-1 carries the strongest top line of the group: $16.3 billion in first-half revenue against $1.1 billion a year earlier, more than $131 billion of cash, and a $965 billion private mark from May 16. The complication in the same filing is the $80.7 billion net loss, but more than $72 billion of that is non-cash fair-value changes on convertible notes, derivatives and SAFEs, with just under $9 billion actually spent on AI infrastructure 6.

What to watch into November 16

Watch RVI daily between now and the debut, because it is the only listed instrument holding Mercor's name and its marks reprice on a date the fund's own CFO flagged 13.

The size and valuation of RVI's Mercor position are not disclosed; the first reading of whether the pull-through is real will be the fund's net asset value disclosures after November 16 5. If Anthropic clears at $1.5 trillion or better, the believer case writes itself; if the debut prices soft, the same co-mover runs in reverse, as the Q3 unrealized losses already showed 5.
