Global payments network building the rails for agentic commerce: in the week of 30 September 2026 it expanded Agent Pay with a probability score for AI-initiated transactions now in US testing, plus trust work with Cloudflare and Skyfire. Chief executive Michael Miebach told investors in July 2026, "We expect cards will prevail in an agentic world."
