Terafab

Terafab is the chip venture behind a planned $16.8 billion fab in Grimes County, Texas, pitched to build logic, memory and advanced packaging under one roof for Elon Musk's companies. It is backed by SpaceX, Tesla and xAI, made Intel a strategic partner in April 2026, and on 3 October 2026 Musk confirmed talks with TSMC about owning and operating the plant.
