Waymo

Waymo is the autonomous vehicle operator whose driverless rides have set the pace for the robotaxi market, taking about a quarter of San Francisco ride-hailing in roughly 20 months. It had partnered with Uber in Phoenix but has already ended that partnership and is working to exit a contract that runs to May 2028, making it both benchmark and threat in Uber's $10 billion pivot.
