Abridge launches hospital claim review, putting Athelas and parent Commure's $7 billion valuation to the test
On August 5 Commure's Athelas shipped an agentic billing suite; on September 14 Abridge, embedded in 300 health systems, launched its first claims product. The convergence puts the $7B mark Commure raised into in May up against a rival with deeper hospital distribution, and the listed middle, Waystar and Solventum, between the two.
