Ornani is a long-time Fisher Investments employee. The firm's Form ADV lists him as chief executive officer and a member of its board of managers, with the CEO title dated July 2016, and reports that he owns between 10% and 25% of the adviser, Fisher Asset Management, LLC. Ken Fisher stayed on as executive chairman and co-chief investment officer when Ornani became chief executive.
He has led the firm through its first outside investment: in June 2024 Fisher Investments agreed to sell a minority stake to Advent International and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in a deal that valued it at about $13 billion, and the sale completed in early 2025. The adviser reported 13F holdings of about $335.8 billion for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Ornani holds an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
