Keith Metters is president of Fidelity International, the Bermuda-based asset manager that files its US holdings as FIL Ltd, and has led the business since March 2024.
Metters was named president of Fidelity International effective 1 March 2024, succeeding Anne Richards, who left the chief executive role and was to return as vice chair after a six-month break. His title is president rather than chief executive, and he reports to chairman Abigail Johnson.
He joined Fidelity International in 2020 to lead its Workplace Investing business and later became Global Head of Platform Solutions. Before that he spent more than 20 years at Fidelity Investments in the US, where he held several roles, most recently leading the Workplace Investing Core Market division. He has more than 25 years of experience in the industry.
Fidelity International was set up in 1969 as the international arm of Fidelity's US investment business and became independent in 1980. It reported assets under management of US$1.086 trillion at the end of 2025, and its 13F filing for June 2026 listed about $139 billion of US-listed securities across advisers in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and Canada.
