Satellite communications company that agreed on 8 September 2025 to sell its AWS-4 and H-block spectrum licenses to SpaceX for about $17 billion, half cash and half SpaceX stock, plus roughly $2 billion of funded interest payments. With a second deal, SpaceX ended up holding 65 MHz of EchoStar spectrum for $19.6 billion.
