Aehr tripled its revenue in a quarter and Wall Street still cut its price targets
Aehr Test Systems tripled quarterly revenue, raised its year to $150 million and jumped 26.5% in a day, yet two analysts cut price targets into the rally and the 10-Q names the risks the multiple has to outrun.

Aehr Test Systems+8.93% — Aehr Test Systems, up 8.93 percent today of Fremont, California builds the machines that stress-test AI chips before they ship, cooking semiconductors with power and heat so the failures show up in the factory and not in a data center.
On November 2, after the close, it printed a record quarter: revenue of $33.0 million, triple the $11.0 million of a year earlier and up 75% sequentially, with non-GAAP earnings of $0.28 a share against an $0.11 consensus 12. The stock closed at $51.47 that day and $65.11 the next, a 26.5% jump, on a year-to-date run near 194% 14.
The guide triples the year
Bookings of $46.7 million ran 40% above revenue, a book-to-bill of about 1.4, and backlog hit $100.9 million at quarter end, $109.3 million counting post-quarter orders 1. Management raised fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to $150 million, triple fiscal 2026, and promised non-GAAP net income of at least 20% of revenue 1.
Revenue swung from $21.4M in 2023 to a $9.9M trough before the AI quarter

The demand story is concrete: more than a dozen Sonoma burn-in systems a month for a lead hyperscale customer's first AI processor, a second processor already qualified for a 2027 ramp, and a new wafer-level burn-in cell headed for a Taiwan assembly partner in early 2027 that the chief executive calls one of the largest opportunities Aehr has ever pursued 12.
Wall Street cut its targets into the pop
Here is the complication. Lake Street kept its Buy and dropped its target to $90 from $110, citing valuation compression across semiconductor equipment, and Jefferies−2.51% — Jefferies, down 2.51 percent today went to $140 from $175 on the same logic 38. The stock trades near 42.5 times sales while trailing free cash flow sits around negative $5.5 million 4.
Both targets came down, but sit far above the $65.11 close
- Old price target
- New price target
Data
| Old price target | New price target | |
|---|---|---|
| Lake Street | $110 | $90 |
| Jefferies | $175 | $140 |
The order book says triple; the cash flow statement has not been told yet. Cash on hand is $105.1 million 1, and Jefferies notes backlog already covers most of the new fiscal year 8.
Concentration is the fault line
The 10-Q filed November 6 lists shipment timing, customer concentration, tariffs and patent litigation as the key uncertainties 5. Simply Wall St's bear case prices the stock 256% overvalued on insider selling and dilution, the same selling this publication reported in October, against a bull case 41% undervalued 49.
Retail holders on Stocktwits are waiting for $110 7. One position has quietly changed hands: Jane Street filed a 13G/A on November 6 showing a 3.3% stake, 1,076,577 shares, held with no sole voting power, the footprint of a trading book rather than an owner 6.
What decides it next
Two dated events settle the argument. A high-volume production decision from the Taiwan evaluation, expected within months of the early-2027 installation, tells whether the wafer-level business is one customer or a market 1. The second AI processor's calendar-2027 ramp tells whether the dozen-systems-a-month pace holds or doubles 12. Between now and then, watch the backlog convert: at $65 a share the market has already spent the $150 million, and only shipped boxes can pay for it 12.
