Procore's stock jumped 15.69% on a $402.3 million beat; DroneDeploy supplied 2 of 19 growth points

The Q3 beat was real, but 2 points of the 19% growth came from an acquisition and the AI product line at the center of the pitch has no published price. A $300 million buyback authorized the same week says what management thinks the stock is worth.

Procore+18.43% — Procore, up 18.43 percent today beat Q3 with revenue of $402.3 million against a $384 million consensus and adjusted earnings of $0.51 a share versus $0.46 expected, and the stock closed up 15.69% on the print 123. The arithmetic inside the release is worth a second read before trusting the pop.

DroneDeploy supplied two of the 19 points of growth

DroneDeploy, the 3D reality-capture company Procore acquired this year, contributed 2 percentage points of the 19% year-over-year growth, and $24 million of inorganic revenue is baked into the full-year guide 1. Strip it and the organic engine still runs in the mid-teens: gross revenue retention held at 95% — the share of recurring revenue existing customers kept — and customers spending over $100,000 a year grew 14% to 2,968 1. That is real demand, but it is not the 19% the headline sells 1.

The AI carrying the strategy has never shown a price card

The same release made Procore AI's "digital coworkers" generally available, a product line CEO Ajei Gopal calls the path to "a true system of intelligence for construction," and paired it with a voice-first mobile app, Procore AI Go, plus announced collaborations with NVIDIA−1.35% — NVIDIA, down 1.35 percent today and IBM+1.84% — IBM, up 1.84 percent today 1. What the release does not carry is any price, revenue split or adoption metric for the AI line 1. Investors are being asked to pay for an AI story they cannot yet measure.

The filings show why the beat mattered: Procore ran GAAP operating losses every quarter through Q1 2026, and turned positive for the first time in Q2 2026, so a 23% non-GAAP operating margin and $73 million of free cash inflow, up 8%, mark a genuine profitability inflection 16.

The buyback says cheap; the missing price card says not yet

The fresh $300 million buyback, authorized October 30 and funded from working capital, is a same-day replacement: the prior $300 million program expired November 3, 2026, the day results were disclosed 1. That program was used — Procore repurchased $175 million of stock in Q3 and $275 million over nine months 1.

Management signals it sees the stock below intrinsic value; the unpriced AI line signals monetization is not yet measurable. Full-year guidance was raised to $1,557–1,559 million against a $1,514 million consensus, and FY2027 non-GAAP operating margin is guided at 25% 13. Watch Q4: whether organic growth, excluding DroneDeploy's $19 million of guided inorganic revenue, holds above the mid-teens, and whether a price card for the digital coworkers ever appears 1.
