Anthropic prices Claude for financial advisors at $4,800 per 20 seats; FINNY charges $50 a month

A day after Anthropic filed to list on Nasdaq as ANT, its Claude for Financial Advisors product picked up six connectors and its first public price: $4,800 for 20 seats. Startup FINNY went the other way, charging $50 a month plus an undisclosed share of the assets it helps advisors win.

Anthropic$350B — Anthropic, private, latest valuation $350B filed its S-1 on October 26, 2026, for a Nasdaq listing as ANT, with share count and price range unset 1. The next day its advisor suite, Claude for Financial Advisors, took six connectors: CAIS, Conquest, FINNY, Invesco−0.19% — Invesco, down 0.19 percent today, MSCI+0.04% — MSCI, up 0.04 percent today and Jump 2. Invesco put its model portfolios inside, MSCI its indexes and risk data, FINNY its prospect lists 2. The filing behind them shows the stakes: $16.29 billion of revenue in the six months to June 30, 2026, against $1.16 billion a year earlier 1.

A $4,800 floor that sidelines 11,000 firms

The price of the seat arrived the same week. Claude for Financial Advisors requires a minimum of 20 seats at $4,800, a bill RIABiz reports as annual, though Private Wealth Daily notes the webinar never stated the period 35. Anthropic go-to-market executive Drew Parker told advisors there is "no path" for now to a lower count 3.

Schwab Advisor Services, the product's only custodian since September 14, 2026, serves more than 16,000 registered investment advisors, and 11,000 of those firms hold under $100 million in assets 43. A five-advisor firm clears the floor by paying for 15 seats it cannot fill 5.

FINNY sells the outcome and keeps the rate quiet

FINNY, a New York prospecting startup founded in 2024 and valued near $150 million, moved from a $500-a-month subscription to $50 a month plus a share of the assets it helps advisors win, a rate it has not published 675.

Visionary Square, a hybrid RIA with more than 250 advisors across 140 firms, pays the $50 itself 75. "We want FINNY to be available in Claude, where they're already operating," chief executive Eden Ovadia said 7. Her backers include Jason Wenk of Altruist, the custody challenger pressing Schwab, and former Vanguard chief William McNabb 6.

Sticky clients, rising tolls, one missing number

Investors may not reward either model: 43 percent told a KPMG/SIFMA study they are unlikely to switch advisors for better AI tools, up 8 points, and 52 percent still name the advisor their primary source 5. Fitch scores wealth managers 40 of 100 on AI disruption risk, double its mark for investment banks 5.

The connectors also face tolls, as Orion starts charging vendors for API access and Salesforce+0.03% — Salesforce, up 0.03 percent today meters AI calls 5. Parker says Anthropic is "working to see" whether the seat count can drop 3. Until FINNY publishes its cut, this lane costs a known $4,800 against a percentage nobody has seen 3.
